PRODUCTION DECREASES ...
WITHOUT OPTIMIZING YOUR POWER:

A facility running without  energy optimization system will experience:

  • Frequent equipment replacement
  • Motors running inefficiently
  • Compressors failing more often
  • Increased maintenance costs
  • Lost labor and increased labor costs
  • Equipment downtime
  • Decreased productivity

While repairs are being made and equipment is being replaced, you aren’t operating. You are losing production time, paying for wages for workers who can’t be productive, and paying for repair personnel to replace equipment that again, you must pay for. Even if the replacements are covered by insurance, warranties, or your corporate savings account, wouldn’t it be nice to just continue making a profit and increase your bottom line instead of paying for unnecessary overhead?

When your facility has not optimized its power the energy you are using causes everything to run hotter, work harder, and requires more maintenance. A simple explanation of this is the illustration to the right showing what is called “Power Factor Correction”. It's how the power is optimized by our system.

INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY

PRODUCTION BENEFITS:

A nice benefit of your Energy Optimization System is the fact that your facility is using less power to accomplish the same amount of work. This allows your energy usage, production and operation costs to decrease.

Another major benefit, is the elimination of impediments to productivity by preventing the equipment, motors, and compressors from requiring replacement due to electrical surges and un-optimized power. Will your facility still run on this power? Sure, just like your vehicle will still run without a tune-up. But like a vehicle in need of a tune-up, your facility will use more energy to produce the same amount of work. That is more expensive for you.

WHY IT WORKS:

All electric power consists of two primary components, voltage and current. The electricity running through your wires consists of these two elements that together create the work force powering your facility. Because electricity is invisible, the illustration below demonstrates the process expressed in a waveform.

When the wave forms of the two elements, voltage and current are far apart - that indicates the energy needs to be optimized. That distance is called the power factor and it indicates how much efficiency there is in the power. The further the distance between voltage and current, the more power that will be consumed to do the same amount of work. Note that your machines are still running on this power - just not efficiently. We optimize your energy with a power factor correction unit. It works by bringing the voltage and current into sync by moving the two closer together. By doing this, you yield a 15% increase in efficiency when this happens which drops your usage by 15%. This is guaranteed.
