HOW IT WORKS:
The
Energy Optimization System consists
of several modular components
we install in your electrical
system that work together to
reduce your energy usage and
also provides your equipment
with heavy duty industrial surge
protection. You can have us install
part or all of the system depending
on your needs and budget. The
system can be upgraded at any
time if you elect to only have
parts of the system installed
initially.
The
way it works is simple. Our equipment
is installed at your electrical
panel and then locally at each
machine, motor, or compressor.
The unit on the electrical panel
(white unit shown to the left)
protects your facility from surges.
The local units that are placed
at each specific motor or compressor
are Power Factor Correction capacitors
(PFC's). They actually improve
the efficiency of the motor right
at the load, thereby lowering
the amount of energy the motor
needs to operate (green unit
shown to the left).
The
components of the Energy Optimization
System work together to both
protect and optimize your entire
facility’s electrical system.
Whether you are a small restaurant
with a few compressors, or a
major manufacturing facility
running a bank of 50 hp motors,
we protect and optimize your
facility affordably.
So
why would you need to now optimize
power you have been using for
years? The
job of the power company is to
supply electricity to your facility. However,
once it passes through the meter,
it is up to you to manage the
efficiency of that electricity. Your
energy optimization system from

that. We take the guess
work out of determining where you
have inefficiencies and wasted
energy. With our PFC devices,
we can actually test your larger
motors and compressors to determine
what efficiency level they are
running at. Then, and here
is the exciting part, we custom
build a power factor correction
capacitor for the motor or compressor,
and can bring the efficiency
up to 97 to 99%, every time!!!
